Using state-of-the-art hyper-local GPS technology, you can easily find restaurants, hotels, attractions and other activities within a few miles or a few blocks of where you’re standing at any moment in time. You choose the search radius, the ScenicWA app will do the rest with complete with consumer ratings, mapping and directions.

Here’s how it works
Settings:
1) Start by adjusting the “Settings” to match your needs. To search for nearby options, you’ll need to activate your device’s GMS by switching “Near Me” to the On position.

2) If you prefer not to use the location aware capabilities or are not yet at your destination, you can choose to select from the “Search by City” or “Zip Code” options. Simply press the “Done” button in the upper right corner to move to the next step.
Next, simply define the radius of your search from 0-20 miles.

Nearby:
The “Nearby” navigation tool will open to a screen featuring the five most requently requested listing categories. Selecting any of these categories will display a map showing the search results
based on your settings criteria for radius and location.
Simply touch any pushpin to see the name, get directions on foot, by car or transit, Check In (if Facebook is activated in Settings) and even write a review.

Search:
The “Search” screen launches a traditional keyword field. Typing in your keyword, like golf or whales will take you to the listings that contain your keyword within your defined radius.

Listings:
The “Listings” screen displays all of the available search categories available in the site.

The “More” screen displays other search filter options related to the information on our
website, ScenicWA.com. Nearby Festivals & Events, Travel Articles, Insider Tips and other information are all available for you to view and to assist in your travel planning.
